Steps
- In mixing bowl, add water heated to 120-130°F. Mix in yeast and stir until completely integrated.
- Add 1.5 oz vegetable oil, sugar, and salt and stir. Add 1.25 c of flour and mix with your hands forming a ball. Kneed dough on floured surface (use about 3/4 c total) until it is no longer tacky, about 3-5 minutes.
- Place dough on a plate and cover in plastic wrap. Let sit out for about 30 minutes.
- In a 9 inch pizza pan, add 1 oz vegetable oil and coat bottom of pan.
- Place dough in center of pan and with your fingers work the dough out to cover the bottom of the pan.
- Then with your thumbs on the outside of the pan, pinch the dough up on the sides of the pan about 1 to 1.5 inches.
- You are now ready to add your own ingredients!

- For one 9-inch Deep Dish (serves 2)
- Double the Pizza Dough recipe and use a 14-inch pan for a 4 serving pie.

- 2 c all purpose flour, for dough
- 0.5 c water, for dough
- 2.5 oz vegetable oil (corn oil is best), for dough
- 1 t fast acting yeast, for dough
- 0.5 t sugar, for dough
- 0.5 t salt, for dough
- 6-8 oz sliced mozzarella cheese (4-6 slices)
- 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 oz pizza sauce
- 1.5 c sliced vegetables (use what you like)
- 24 slices pepperoni
- 6 oz raw sausage
