- 6 medium onions cut up
- 1/2 stick butter sauted until clear
- 2 cans beef broth
- 1 can water
- 2 beef boullions

- Cut up onions. Sautee in butter until onions are clear.
- Pour in beef broth, water, and beef boullions.
- Cook for about 20 minutes.
- Put in soup crocks. Cover with parmesean cheese and gruyere swiss. Float toasted bread on top. Top with sliced mozzarella.
- Put in oven 350 for 5-10 minutes.
- Then broil until lightly brown.
