Nana's Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/2 c corn syrup
  • 1/4 butter melted
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 c pecan pieces
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Method
 

  1. Mix sugar, syrup and butter, add eggs and pecans.
  2. Fill shell with mixture.
  3. Bake 400 for 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to 350 and continue baking for 30-35 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean.
