Ingredients
  

  • 1 c crisco
  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 3/4 c white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 T hot water
  • 1 t sugar
  • 2 1/2 c flour sifted
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 12 oz. chocolate chips 2 cups
  • 1 cup walnuts

Method
 

  1. Cream crisco, brown sugar, and white sugar.
  2. Add eggs, hot water, and sugar. Beat well.
  3. Add flour, salt, and baking soda.
  4. Add chocolate chips and walnuts.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Drop by well rounded hexagon.
  7. Bake at 375ยฐ for 10-12 minutes.
