Cinnamon Candy

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup light Karo
  • 1 T water
  • ยฝ t food coloring
  • ยฝ to ยพ t flavoring oil

Method
 

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients in saucepan. 
  2. Cook until Hard Crack over medium heat.
  3. Take off heat and add flavoring and coloring.
  4. Stir well and pour out onto a buttered cookie sheet with sides.
  5. When partially set, start scoring with a buttered knife to make the candy easier to break into pieces.

Notes

Stand far away from mixture when adding the flavoring with an exhaust fan on because cinnamon oil is VERY strong.
