
Strawberry Jam
Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 pkg Sure Jell
- 1 qt ripe strawberries
- ¾ cup water
Instructions
- Crush berries—add sugar and stir well.
- Mix Sure Jell and water in small sauce pan.
- Boil 1 minute stirring constantly. Stir this into strawberries. Continue stirring 3 minutes.
- Ladle into clean jars. Cover tightly.
- Leave at room temperature for 24 hours, then place in freezer.
