Grandma Lou’s Homemade Mayonnaise

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T flour
  • 0.25 c cider vinegar
  • 0.33 c sugar
  • 0.5 c water

Method
 

  1. Beat together: 2 eggs and 1 T (heaping) of flour
  2. In 1 c glass measuring cup, put in: ¼ c cider vinegar, fill to ½ with sugar, fill to full with water and mix.
  3. Add to egg mixture and cook on low on stove until thick.

Notes

“This is what I use for my potato salad—add some Hellman’s mayo if you need more.”
