Jennifer Nelson Potatoes (aka Aunt Donna's Potatoes)

Ingredients
  

  • Idaho Potatoes 5 to 6 for 4 people
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz EXTRA SHARP cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Peel potatoes and boil in water (enough to cover all potatoes) until a fork pokes easily into potatoes.
  • Drain water completely.
  • Leave potatoes in drained pot and butter, milk, salt, pepper and mix with hand beater (you'll now have mashed potatoes).
  • Fold in sour cream and cheese.
  • Place in a buttered bowl and bake 350 oven for about 20-30 minutes or until top begins to brown.
  • Let set about 15 minutes before serving.
