Nana's Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/2 c corn syrup
  • 1/4 butter melted
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 c pecan pieces
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Instructions
 

  • Mix sugar, syrup and butter, add eggs and pecans.
  • Fill shell with mixture.
  • Bake 400 for 10 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 350 and continue baking for 30-35 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean.
