Sausage and Egg Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lb sausage
  • 3 c milk
  • 9 slices white bread (crust cut off) cubed
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 ½ c shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ t salt
  • 1 ½ t dry mustard
  • chopped onion and green pepper if desired

Instructions
 

  • Brown sausage, drain well. Beat eggs, add milk, salt, dry mustard well.
  • Add cubed bread. Stir in sausage and cheese.
  • Place in 9x13 dish and cover. Refrigerate overnight.
  • Remove from fridge ½ hour before baking.
  • Bake at 350 about 45 minutes. Do not cover to bake.
