
Sausage and Egg Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb sausage
- 3 c milk
- 9 slices white bread (crust cut off) cubed
- 9 eggs
- 1 ½ c shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1 ½ t salt
- 1 ½ t dry mustard
- chopped onion and green pepper if desired
Instructions
- Brown sausage, drain well. Beat eggs, add milk, salt, dry mustard well.
- Add cubed bread. Stir in sausage and cheese.
- Place in 9x13 dish and cover. Refrigerate overnight.
- Remove from fridge ½ hour before baking.
- Bake at 350 about 45 minutes. Do not cover to bake.
