Sugar Cream Pie

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ stick butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup sugar
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat mixture of butter, milk, and sugar.
  • Mix together cornstarch, sugar, and salt.
  • Add dry mixture slowly to milk. Cook until thick.
  • Pour into baked pie shell.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg and chill.
