Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Steps

  1. Mix coffee cake ingredients together.
  2. Pour half the batter into a greased bundt pan or a 9 x 13 dish.
  3. Sprinkle half of filling over batter.  Add remaining batter, sprinkle with rest of filling.
  4. Then cut through the batter several times with a knife.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes for 9 x 13.  Longer for bundt pan.  Check for doneness with a toothpick.

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1.5 c sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 t soda
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 T cinnamon, for filling
  • 3 T sugar, for filling
  • 0.25 c chopped nuts, if desired, for filling
