Cuban Espresso

A sweetened espresso shot (traditionally with brown sugar whipped with the first/strongest drops of espresso)

Steps

  1. Use stovetop espresso maker to make coffee.
  2. Add 2 spoonfuls of beginning stage of coffee to sugar. Put coffee back on stove until finished.
  3. Stir sugar mixture thoroughly until creamed.
  4. When coffee finished, pour rest of coffee into mixture.
  5. To serve, shake while pouring into cup (to get both liquid and foam).

Ingredients

  • coffee grounds, Cafe Bustelo is good
  • water
  • 3 spoonfuls brown sugar
