Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (Bake). Boil pasta till less than al dente. Drain and return to pot. Add enough sauce to moisten. Add 3 cups mozzarella and all of parmesan. Spread into 9x13 pan. Top with thin layer of sauce, then with remaining mozzarella.
Cover with foil and bake in oven for 30 minutes (or until cheese starts to melt). Remove foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Serve with extra sauce.
Notes
Undercooking the pasta when boiling will allow for the baking process and not make the pasta too mushy. Judge the amount of sauce you mix in the pasta and increase it if needed (the pasta will absorb some to continue cooking through).
Ingredients
1 lb Ziti pasta (may substitute with other tube pasta)
4 c shredded mozzarella
1 c freshly grated parmesan
Family sauce (1 jar???)
