Sausage and Egg Casserole

Steps

  1. Brown sausage, drain well. Beat eggs, add milk, salt, dry mustard well.
  2. Add cubed bread. Stir in sausage and cheese.
  3. Place in 9x13 dish and cover. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Remove from fridge ½ hour before baking.
  5. Bake at 350°F about 45 minutes. Do not cover to bake.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb sausage
  • 3 c milk
  • 9 slices white bread (crust cut off) cubed
  • 9 eggs
  • 1.5 c shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1.5 t salt
  • 1.5 t dry mustard
  • chopped onion and green pepper, if desired
