Steps

  1. Add wet ingredients to a big bowl.
  2. Then add dry ingredients. Mix well, making sure to coat all the oats.
  3. Cover baking sheet with high-heat oil (I use avocado) - this helps get a crunchier texture.
  4. Bake at 350ºF for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Let cool on baking sheet for one hour (for proper granola ‘chunks’ and crunch), or remove immediately for softer granola.

  • 0.5 c peanut butter
  • 0.5 c strawberry jam, or grape jelly, or raspberry/blueberry preserves
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 0.25 c sunflower seeds
  • 2 c rolled oats
  • 0.5 to 1 c peanuts
  • 0.5 t salt
